@ 13:20 - SPX is selling off to test its DTL (13 H-EMA) on its hourly chart.  A close below that line would signal a very likely test of PUL-0 again.

Yellen double downing on her dovishness yesterday was totally surprising.  Is the US economy entering into a recession?

@ 20:30 - Internal and breadth data were mixed today.  SPX is now trading below its PUL-0 on its hourly chart and seems to be ready to sell off more tomorrow to test support around 2000:

Weedend ... March 25-27, 2016

Where Are We Going?

SPX has been trading in a 300 point (roughly1800 to 2100) range for the past 18 months.  What will break SPX out of this range, either to the upside or downside, is going to be earnings and outlook by companies reporting within the next couple of weeks.   If earnings and outlook are good, then SPX would very likely rally to take out its all time high (2134) and go up much higher.  If earnings and outlook are disappointing, then SPX would very likely sell off to take out its recent lows (around 1800) and go substantially lower.

Long Term Outlook (Weeks to Months):

Short as of close of Dec 11, 2015

@ 13:00 - SPX is back testing its DTL on its hourly chart.   Chances are good that SPX closes below its DTL today:

@ 11:00 - Good video by Oscar:

@ 10:35 - SPX is testing its DTL on its daily chart.  Bears like me would would like to see a close below that support today (SPX 2020 or lower).  In that case, chances would be good that SPX starts to trade in an important support zone (2020-1900) next week.  How SPX trades in that zone would be very telling as for the future direction of SPX.  If SPX cuts through that zone quickly, then chances would be good that SPX sells off significantly later in the week or the following week.
